Superb! Love, courage, honesty, creativity and hope are the key ingredients in this book that details one woman's desire to make the best of her current situation. It mirrors the struggle of thousands of women who give so much of themselves and yet cannot find a space in which to reclaim and nourish their real selves. Whether married or single, it gives inspiration to all who are seeking to reconnect to their dreams. - L.C., Charlottesville, VA
LOVED the book. One of the things I loved and was struck by is the way in which you don't blame anyone and take responsibility for your part in what wasn't working and are so respectful of each family member's unique experience. In a culture where things are so polarized and people want things to be black and white, you offer a picture that demonstrates the reality that life is actually mostly gray! I think more than ever, we crave the simplicity of blame where one person is good and the other is bad as a way to explain our predicaments, to justify negative emotions and to try to navigate through difficult decisions. Marriage has become a reflection of the larger culture in which the right and the left are so polarized that nothing good can happen and where blaming the other seems to be the only tool. - B.M.
